Redefining Performance Through ArtTech

Building on the success of “Storm Clouds,” the Hong Kong Dance Company (HKDC) partnered with DBIS to reimagine this iconic dance performance. Set in a custom outdoor venue, this collaboration fused fresh choreography with cutting-edge art-tech installations, immersing audiences in a narrative inspired by Hong Kong’s martial arts comic heritage.

Visionary Art Direction

Drawing from “Storm Clouds,” we crafted a dynamic performance space that blends dance, martial arts, and interactive storytelling. A striking LED cube welcomes visitors with vivid visuals, while a 270-degree V-shaped tunnel serves as both exhibition and stage backdrop, guiding audiences through an immersive journey. Interactive elements—powered by real-time motion tracking—let visitors engage with the narrative, seamlessly bridging tradition and innovation.

Elevated Audience Engagement

Our collaboration with HKDC’s creative team introduced real-time stage interactions, including projected rooftops and dynamic fight effects, enhanced by a sensory-rich V-shaped projection environment. These innovations delivered a captivating, audience-centric experience that set a new standard for immersive performance.
